This is a place where we can share our love for those who have passed away.
A collaborative space where we can leave our notes of love and care.
I know many have experienced this loss and it is difficult to find a place to memorialize them.

===== Finding a Memorial =====

You can use the search at the top or look at the [[memorial:start]] page for a listing.
If you cannot find your loved one please see [[start#contributing]] and consider adding them.

===== Why A Space Like This? =====

Unfortunately for many, families do not accept a persons identity or even their name so utilizing sites like this can be incredibly painful.

===== Contributing =====

If you have someone who has passed please [[memorial:|create a page for them]]. It doesn't matter if there is or isn't an existing obituary.

We only ask a few things (to be expanded if issues arise):

* Use their preferred name
  * If there is an existing reference that does not use their preferred name please link to it appropriately calling out that it may be triggering
  * Use their preferred pronouns
